APS Group ranked second in list of the UK’s top 200 fastest growing global businesses

We’ve been ranked 2nd place out of 200 of the UK’s top private companies for international sales growth in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200. This also means we’re the highest ranking North West based company to feature in the list.

It comes after a growth in international sales between 2013 and 2015, with overseas revenues climbing
203.49% to £18.5 million in 2015.

Total revenue from Group sales peaked at £82.8 million in 2015.

Nick Snelson, managing director of APS Group, said: “International growth is critical to our strategy as a business. We are honoured to be listed alongside some of UK’s global businesses. To enter the list for the first time at number two is testament to our international reach as a company and the hard work and tenacity of our teams.

Working with vendors in more than 120 countries worldwide, backed up by an international customer service centre and our enabling technology, we’re helping our clients balance global control with local execution. Our aim is to continue to expand our international partnerships and presence.”

We join fellow North West companies such as fashion retailer Missguided and online retailer The Hut Group.  The league table also features UK businesses such as sportswear brand Sweaty Betty and flight search engine Skyscanner.

The 200 companies have created a combined total of new 27,000 jobs and generated £7.1 billion in overseas sales, averaging 39% per year international sales growth.

The International Track 200 is sponsored by HSBC and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company.

Superdrug ‘The Little Vegan Pop-up Shop’

Superdrug has partnered with APS Group’s creative agency to create a brand identity for the retailer’s Little Vegan Pop-up Shop. Opening its doors earlier this week, The Little Vegan Pop-Up Shop is based in the heart of London at Boxpark, Shoreditch, and features Superdrug’s entire range of vegan and cruelty-free makeup, skincare, grooming and beauty accessories.

From initial client briefing, through to project completion and shop launch, APS Group was responsible for creating all brand identity and guidelines, as well as the graphic design visuals for the retail space. APS was also responsible for the production of POS, staff uniforms and customer shopping bags.

“The Little Vegan Pop Up Shop is something Superdrug has never done before and we loved the first draft of the LVPU logo.

Once the logo was officially chosen, we also asked APS to create T-Shirts and tote bags for the pop up. We also worked closely with small POS in creating midi tags for the store which included design changes to match the store interiors.” Sophia Helden, Customer Experience, Superdrug

From major integrated campaigns encompassing TV adverts and social marketing to creating digital retail environments, APS Group has worked with Superdrug for more than a decade, helping the retailer constantly evolve and make more possible.
