Creative team wins two awards at the Drum’s Scottish Creative Awards
Great news for our creative team in Edinburgh!
They’ve received two awards at the Drum’s Scottish Creative Awards for the Poster and Corporate Promotional Literature categories.
Panda – World Wildlife Fund
We created a series of self-promotional Christmas mailers to prospective clients. The brief was to produce work which would interest and engage at Christmas. WWF was sent a poster which at first glance is a panda, the well recognised symbol for the organisation. On closer inspection, the poster hides a seasonal twist. Left deliberately unbranded, the poster was sent with a covering letter and followed up with a phone call. WWF loved the poster, and it opened a dialogue with what was an otherwise cold contact.
Corporate Promotional Literature
The 1,916 – Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd
The distillery wanted to offer a limited edition package which included a first release, inaugural filling of ‘The Hearach’ whisky, an oak cask stave engraved with the purchasers name for permanent display in the distillery and lifetime admission to the distillery tours.
There are 1,916 inhabitants on Harris. The offer is limited to 1,916 bottles to reflect this.
As ‘The Hearach’ will not be available until 2019, there was a need for the purchaser to receive something as an acknowledgement of their purchase.
We suggested that the distillery should produce a book, telling the story of the distillery, the island and the people who live there. The book includes a proof of purchase certificate and a ‘Guest for life’ engraved copper card entitling the purchaser to a lifetime of free tours at the Harris Distillery.
Photography of locals was commissioned and a piece was written by a local author, giving the recipient a real flavour of the island and its community.
