We were delighted to be over in Boston again recently to catch up with our US colleagues. We have a fairly new addition to the team in Meg Rabinowitz. So, over coffee at the very lovely Sofa Café in Back Bay, we quizzed Meg on why she joined APS Group and what she has planned over the coming months.

Hello from Boston

What attracted you to APS?

I was really excited by the opportunity to join a global organisation and to work with large multi-national brands. Since I joined the company in August I’ve already been to the UK and the Netherlands and I’m currently working with Phillips, so I’m ticking all of those boxes!

What did you do before APS?

I spent seven years as marketing manager for the New England Aquarium here in Boston. It was a fantastic learning experience and also gave me a huge insight into what it’s like to be client-side which is great for my new role at APS.

What’s coming up that you’re excited about?

We’re constantly working on new and exciting projects for Phillips and we’re also bringing new clients on board as we continue to grow in the US.

I’m really looking forward to attending ProcureCon in California in November. It’s a show dedicated to marketing procurement and sourcing and is the largest in the US, so I can’t wait to hear from some of the fantastic speakers that are attending and meet lots of new people from across the industry.

What do you get up to in your spare time?

I do a lot of running and have run the Boston Marathon twice! I’m also busy planning my wedding next June followed by my honeymoon in Tahiti!
