Earlier this year we were extremely proud to announce that our IT business alignment director Louise Cheetham was shortlisted in the Transformation of the Year category at the 2017 Women in IT Awards.

Attended by 1,000 business and tech leaders, it wasn’t long before the gala ceremony was upon us! Taking place at Grosvenor House in Mayfair last week, one of the highlights of the evening was a surprise talk from MI6 chief Alex Younger who spoke about the importance of attracting more women to technology roles, how we can utilise their talent and why we need to take the time to celebrate their contribution.

Louise was recognised for her instrumental work with our client Aegon UK on their journey of continual transition and service development, for significant projects with clients such as The Co-operative Group and the BBC, as well as projects closer to home including the setting up of APS Group’s IT department.

While there were no wins this time, we had a fantastic time celebrating and were thrilled to be in such company. A big well done to Louise and to all the winners!
